I’ve always taken your “about me” page as a matter of course, it never bothered me.

Does that say something about me, or maybe our relationship, or is it just a random facet of life…

Cheers Hannah, thank you very much. I don’t believe I’m better than you mainly because your poems are steeped in emotion that anyone can feel or relate to.

I’ll come back to it with a fresh mind sometime and finish it off.

I’d only settle for being the Queen’s laureate or was the title, the Royal laureate?

I know I’ve said this before, but you’re a good poet, better than me at any rate, and you should defintitely keep posting them up here, particularly if you plan on throwing away the hard copy.

One thing with this one, as with all your others, have you tried reading it out loud? You’ll see it’s got a really lovely rhythm, but it doesn’t really feel like it has a natural ending in the way that many of your pieces do (you have a great natural talent for sensing the end of a poem, even if sometimes you don’t know it yourself).

I have an idea that there is a final verse in you. It doesn’t even have to be the same length, it could be a one or two line round-off, set formatting isn’t a must in poetry, in fact it’s almost a taboo in some forms.

Keep it up love and you’ll be laureate before you know it, this is good stuff.

But I LOVE you! I do! And I don’t want to have sex with you! But if ever you needed blood and I was readily available and matching… I’d give you a pint to keep you alive!
On a less dramatic note, I’ll always tell you what you need to hear rather than what you want to hear… even if you hate me a bit for it. I’ll worry about you getting home safe even though you don’t want me to. I’ll hug you when you cry, and hold your hair back when you vomit.

Because THAT’s love!
And you don’t need sex for love! Friendship is love too! In fact, even with sex involved it’s better with deep comfortable friendship.

Love is just complete acceptance of another person’s base neutral personality co-ordinates, and a desire to push those co-ordinates into the positive – or help that person be the best version of themselves they can be.

haha i like this blog, and i dislike pikies. most of them anyway. we are emptying our loft atm and we have a skip on our front drive. so i hear some strange noises at like 6 in the morning, look out my window and there they are, four pikies and thier van just rummaging through the skip like it was a bargain bucket at pound stretchers! i had to tell them to sod off! I was litterally shocked, i wonder if you can get “pikie repellent spray” to spray on your skips, like the stuff you spray your rubbish with to repel foxes!
