The Old Lady In The Shop

Don’t you hate it when old ladies seem to follow you into the shop to spark up a conversation about the evening paper. She managed to enlist me to help find her the evening paper and everywhere I pointed (to get her away) she shot me down. Then I decided to ask the man at the counter, while I was in the queue, to which he replied, “You wait your turn!”

That’s the last time I help the eldery get papers. (To be honest it probably won’t be)

Please tell me what you honestly think guys.

Saving You, Saving Me

Let me help you fight your monsters,
No matter how bad things seem.
I will save you from disaster
and kiss you better in your dreams.

Now I know I’m saving you,
in turn you’re saving me,
because I was in a dark place too
and life was but a misery.

I’m glad to have made you smile
and you made me smile too.
Please note that it may take awhile,
til I can be with you.

But I’ll still listen to all of your problems
and be there to hug and hold.
Hand in hand, together we’ll show them
Our love is clear and bold.

The Two Most Random Conversations of Last Night and Possibly the Year

Number 1

Me: Look, I don’t think this is working out, maybe we should just call it quits?

A: What? Why?

Me: Honestly, I think I’m falling in love with you

A: I love you too

[Kiss]

A: Move in with me

I guess there is a morale to this conversation. Always be honest and things might turn out for the best. Thing is, now I have a hard decision to make and I’ll let you now how it goes.

Number 2

In this one, I was trying to get this girl to stop talking to me. It was one of those flings, where it ends and you never speak to them again, until out of the blue they appear and pretend you’re still fucking them.

Me: Hey, listen, I have to come clean about something otherwise the guilt is going to kill me ((Lie))

B: Yeah?

Me: When we were “seeing” each other, well, I was already going out with someone

B: Yeah, I know, It was [ENTER PREFERRED NAME HERE], right?

Me: Yeah, but how did you know?

B: Facebook!

It seems the morale of this conversation is to never publicly advertise your Facebook status. Also, sometimes it doesn’t help to try and be nasty, I think she likes me more now, because I am “honest”. GRRRR!
