The Past Week Or So

This is the first day off that I haven’t had anything planned for. Let’s start with last Wednesday!

I managed to get a day off Thursday so I joined so people in partaking of alcoholic beverages and clubbing in Metro in Central London somewhere. Was pretty cool. Got caught pissing up some door but managed to get away scott free (What an odd saying). In the club I met a friend I haven’t seen in years. Got drunk. Had fun.

Rach didn’t go, but joined us beforehand in the Moon Under Water. My friends Sinead, Daniel and Frank went. We met Alex E and Catherine in there.

Worked.

Saturday, worked and after joined Harry at his party. Although I arrived at about 7:30 I still managed to drink 5 bottles of bud and sing (a sober) version of Tenacious D – Tribute before retiring to my house at 11.

Card Factory

1. One of the workers (incredibly slow one) has handed in her notice.

2. Siobhan went to Hayes and found another Stumpy and bought it for me.

3. Someone seriously asked me if we sell Birthday Cards.

That’s all I have to say atm.

P.s.s. Julian finally made some funky layout for tpl and we are gonna buy a hosting thingy.

Going, Going, Gone.

It’s pointless and useless,
to try to fill the void.
Deep inside; My hearts
a lost, confused boy.

It’s draining all my strenght,
to fight and not give in.
Time is taking it’s toll
and patience just can’t win.

I can only blame myself
and to my friends I must say this:
“Find someone who’s cute and funny
then it’s me you will not miss”.

Card Factory Week Break Down

This Week:

1. One of our (attitude problemed) employees charged someone’s credit card £59.94 when she was only supposed to charge them £5.94. The person didn’t even notice, but luckily we could rectify the problem in the shop.

2. I got the nickname, “Void Boy” after managing to charge someone 89.99 for 99 badges when they only wanted one. I’m not sure how I did it, but it ment my boss had to void this transaction 11 times because we cannot exceed £10 in voids. Stupid rule!

3. I filled a display and 5 minutes later a whole shelf had been cleared. The thing was it was gifts for sisters. Random how it went so fast…

4. Someone managed to reach packs of Christmas cards from a 8 foot high shelf. I wouldn’t mind if we had giants shopping at our store, but we don’t. They are all elderly and under 5 foot. How are they reaching them?

5. We sell teddies of a mother and it’s son in these dog type things. Many people buy them but leave the cub. So I adopted one and named him Stumpy. Unfortunately we found two more orphan’s. Luckily though we sold two. Stumpy is the only one left. Come buy him for a £1!

Where Have I Been?

So.  I know it’s been a long time. The reason being I got off holiday and walked into a full time job. So, I have been very busy and been out on my days off.

1. Turns out there was a club near my new place. Pacha! Like the one in Ibiza. It was a fucking foam party and absolutly awesome.

2. Holiday = Loads of drunk times

3. Job. I work in a card shop called, “Card Factory”. I am seriously quitting to a job that goes at a slower pace. See, this card shop is the cheapest around meaning that everyone and their dogs come in and make a mess.

4. This blog could turn into a blog all about Card Factory antics. It’s quite funny and some of the customers are so rude, funny and cheap.

5. I pledge to update this blog as often as I can. I will also be making a list of things that happen at work just to make myself remember.

Sorry for being so LATE!!!

P.s. 6. I’m one of two guys working there and the other one is gay. It’s a very femine (thats not the right spelling) affair.
