Parties To Films

Filed under: Films, Life, Parties — themiget @ 7:59 pm

Firstly I must congratulate Sinead for having such an awesome party and allowng me to kip on her couch.

Secondly I must thank her dad for not filming me while I did the things I do when I am drunk.

Thirdly I must say sorry for all the hassle I caused when I thought my bag was still in the bar the morning after I had awoke.

Now onto Films…

Reading Britgirl’s latest post about her most memorable movie quotes, I thought about the films I love. Here they are. I urge you to see the ones you haven’t seen (that includes Julian who claims to be the great director, lol, I meant dictator.) (You can tell I’m feeling better. Oh, that reminds me, I have been abit ill recently, but I am fine as you can tell through the insulting of Julian. Don’t take it personally.) . Anyway, Enjoy.

Downfall (2004) “April 1945, a nation awaits its…” – A rare film documenting Hitler’s final days in power. It’s very thought prevoking and is shocking as it follows the terrible self destruction of Germany and the truths of Hitler and his generals. Told through the eyes Traudl Humps (Hitler’s secretary).

“I feel no sympathy. I repeat, I feel no sympathy! The German people chose their fate. That may surprise some people. Don’t fool yourself. We didn’t force the German people. They gave us a mandate, and now their little throats are being cut! “

I’ll get back to you on the others.

  1. I never said I was a great director and I am certainly not a dictator! (never wanted to be one either)
